POINTS SYSTEM
HOW DO I RECEIVE POINTS?
To be considered an active member of PRSSA, five points must be earned by the end of the semester. Active members are able to receive awards given at the end of each semester.
POINT WORTH SYSTEM
One (1) point shall be awarded for each business meeting attended during the fall semester or the spring semester. This can be a work meeting related to PR or communication, a PRAL event, a networking conference on or off campus, etc.
One (1) point shall be awarded for a single friend a member brings to a business meeting in the fall semester or the spring semester.
One (1) point will be awarded for attending every meeting during the semester.
One (1) point will be awarded for consistently commenting on and resharing PRSSA social media posts.
One (1) point will be awarded for participating in PRSSA’s “Meet a Member” campaign on social media.
One (1) point will be awarded for having a communications internship, providing proof of actively applying for a comms internship, or holding a communications related role in an organization on or off campus.
One (1) point will be awarded for using services from LSU’s Olinde Career Center.
One (1) point shall be awarded for each volunteer effort or service project in which said member participated during the fall semester or the spring semester.
One (1) point shall be awarded for assistance or attendance in each fundraising activity for PRSSA.
One (1) point shall be awarded for attending PRSSA, PRSA-BR or PRAL-BR workshops or special events.
One (1) point shall be awarded for each written piece printed or published for PRSSA at LSU’s or PRSSA National’s newsletter and/or blog.

ACTIVE MEMBERS
To be considered an active member of PRSSA, five points must be earned by the end of the semester.
STAR MEMBERS
To be considered a star member of PRSSA, five points must be earned by the end of the semester.
PRO MEMBERS
To be considered an pro member of PRSSA, seven+ points must be earned by the end of the semester.
